The actor got support from his ex-wife Shamicka Gibbs and their daughters on the red carpet
Martin Lawrence stepped out with his family while launching the latest Bad Boys.
On May 30, the actor, 59, posed for photos on the red carpet in Los Angeles with his ex-wife Shamicka Gibbs and his three daughters, Jasmine Page, 28, Iyanna Faith, 23, and Amara Trinity, 21, for the Los Angeles premiere of Bad Boys: Ride or Die.
Lawrence and his costar Will Smith, as well as the
movie’s producer Jerry Bruckheimer and directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, arrived at L.A.’s TCL Chinese Theatre on top of a double-decker bus, after which Lawrence posed with his family.
The actor could be seen holding hands with Gibbs, whom he married in 2010 and divorced in 2012, while he posed with her and his daughters for a group photo. She married husband Antwuan “Ace” Hill in 2022.
Lawrence and Gibbs share daughters Iyanna and Amara. He shares daughter Jasmine with Patricia Southall, whom Lawrence was married to in the 1990s, prior to his relationship with Gibbs.
The actor and Gibbs were together for 15 years before their 2010 wedding. After their divorce, Lawrence began dating Roberta Moradfar. Though Lawrence proposed to Moradfar in April 2017, the couple has since split. They were last photographed together at Vanity Fair’s Oscars party in February 2020.
The fourth Bad Boys movie meets Smith, 55, and Lawrence nearly 30 years after the release of 1995’s original Bad Boys. They play Miami detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Bennett, and this time around the characters are wanted men themselves.
A synopsis teases, “The world’s favorite Bad Boys are back with their iconic mix of edge-of-your seat action and outrageous comedy but this time with a twist: Miami’s finest are now on the run.”
