She shared her adoration for Houston in a caption by writing, “Today I said ‘yes’ to my Best friend. I said yes to a new beginning. I said yes to my spiritual head. According to Miya’s Instagram bio, she and Houston began dating in October 2018. A month later, producer Chris Stokes shared a photo of the couple on his Instagram page, calling Miya his “play daughter.” The two faced criticism over their relationship with Stokes, but they moved forward regardless of the criticism.
