More and more celebrities are eulogizing Obrafour and his ‘Pae Mu Ka’ album which hit 20-years this year. Yesterday, Sarkodie took to twitter to praise his mentor for giving him so much inspiration as a musician.
He wrote;
“I call him my godfather cos he guard me through this journey called Music without him even knowing… his legacy gave me the urge to push harder. He has been my favourite Rapper/musician for Lord knows how long. I’m more than a fan! I’m a Stan! So till date I have to pinch myself anytime I’m in his presence… I be like ‘that’s Obrafour you know’ lol … I can write a whole book about this man but lemme keep it short… God bless you Mr Michael ‘my name sake’ … You played a major role in getting me here and I will never forget… I hope I still make you proud and sorry in advance if I should disappoint, please know your thoughts are very essential to me as your legacy is what guards me… will make sure your legacy is protected godfather… Again! Thank you.
Sarkodie’s perceived rival, M.anifest, who is equally considered one of the best rappers in Africa, praised Obrafour’s timeless album.
