Lil Uzi Vert Reveals Music Career Issues: “Motherf*cking Set Myself Up”
He warns against signing music independence over to other entities.

“Y’all talking about drop something. I’m tryna drop something. I dropped ‘New Patek.’ That s**t ain’t getting leaked. I’ve been tryna drop something new. Bro, this is my life now. All I can do is make music, and sit back and wait for y’all response, and make visions to this s**t,” he said. “You think I don’t wanna drop music? You just gotta understand when people don’t love you, they’ll hold your life if you sign a motherf*****g…Hold that s**t against you.”
He goes on to share his insights on hood politics in relation to making deals. “And that go for the streets too. You ain’t supposed to sign no motherf*****g paper in the streets because that’s rattin. How the f*** I even sign this s**t as a deal,” he said. “Motherf****r set myself up. What other way I was suppose to let this s**t go? S**t, it be all good at first just like them motherf****n rats. Motherf*****s be right out of jail.”
