Kylie Jenner Mocked After Flaunting Daughter Stormi’s $40K Rolex In ‘Honest’ Bag Reveal
Kylie Jenner has been mocked by social media users. The former star of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” found herself being the butt of a joke of many after she flaunted her daughter Stormi’s $40K Rolex in what she described as an “honest” bag reveal video.
On Monday, June 5, the 25-year-old TV personality shared “what’s in my bag part 1” video on her TikTok account. In the clip, she showed off the things she carried in her luxurious big black Bottega Veneta handbag. At one point, she pulled out her 5-year-old child’s expensive watch, explaining that it was originally hers but her little girl wore it to a birthday party.
“I have Stormi’s little watch in here. It was actually my watch, but she wore it – look how small her wrist is – she wore it to a birthday party and she didn’t wanna wear it anymore,” the younger sister of Kendall Jenner explained as she rummaged through the handbag she deemed as her “go-to favorite bag of all time.”
Surprised by Kylie’s revelation, many flooded the comments section of her video. One questioned, “She seriously called it an investment? Jesus.” Another quipped, “The casual Rolex watch thrown in the purse lol,” while a third sarcastically commented, “Stormi casually wearing a Rolex to a bday party.” A fourth shared similar opinion by asking, “Stormi wore a Rolex to a birthday party???”
In the beginning of her video, Kylie claimed that it is “a really honest ‘what’s in my bag’ because I have not cleaned this bag or gone through this at all.” However, she brought out stuff, including a claw clip from her older sister Kim Kardashian’s brand Skims, as well as a bottle of hand sanitizer, a lip liner and a blush from her own makeup and skincare lines, Kylie Cosmetics and Kylie Skin.
Many found “The Kardashians” star was making use of her video to market her products. One protested in the comments section of her post, “Proceeds to show nothing that’s actually in her bag other than Kylie skin, skims and a toddler Rolex.” Another joined in, “Show us the gum wrappers, capri sun straw wrappers, and a stale cookie that’s been there for at least two weeks or it’s not legit #mombag.” A third questioned, “Was this just a low key commercial?”
