Ghanaian highlife musician, Kofi Boakye Yiadom, also known as Kofi B lit the room with his love songs at Citi FM’s Music of Ghanaian Origin (MOGO) concert at the National Theatre on Saturday.
And the patrons did not hold back, they danced and sang along as the Highlife musician performed his popular songs including Koforidua flowers, Sika dwa among others.
Kofi B came to the spotlight with his solemn and thought-provoking hit song, ‘Mmobrowa.”
Kofi B’s other popular songs include Twa me keke, Mmobrowa , Belinda, Akua Ataa.
Other top musicians including Bessa Simons, Amandzeba, Adani Best, Kwan Pa band and Kwabena Kwabena are set to perform at the concert.
Nkyinkyim Band opened the MOGO concert ongoing at the National Theatre after which Afro Soul artiste, Cina Soul performed.
Kwan Pa before their main performance served a good dose of undiluted highlife songs in the foyer where patrons were testing their dancing feet before they hit the main auditorium for the long night of quality performances.
