Kodak Black and Gucci Mane have announced they’ll be joining forces once again on a brand new track that Guwop has already deemed a classic.

The Atlanta rap legend took to Twitter on Tuesday (January 10) with a snippet of the new track and a video of Kodak moving to it. In the video, Kodak appears to be in a studio rocking a blue cardigan with two sets of iced-out chains referencing his artist logo and Sniper Gang collective.

As the song plays in the background, Kodak can be seen dancing to the track by flapping his arms to the hard-hitting snippet.

Gucci felt the same way about the track in his tweet, calling it another classic between himself and Yak. “Guwop and Zuwop dropping another classic Friday @KodakBlack1k,” he tweeted alongside the clip.

Kodak Black and Gucci Mane have collaborated on several records together, such as “I Knew It,” “Big Boy Diamonds,” “Vibin In This Bih,” French Montana’s “Lockjaw (Remix)” and more.

Gucci Mane is fresh off the release of his latest project, So Icy Boyz: The Finale, a massive 80-song album featuring his 1017 artists and a number of guest spots from Lil Tjay, 2 Chainz, Jeremih, Lil Baby and others.

Meanwhile, Kodak recently revealed plans to release a brand new album. He hopped on Instagram Live earlier this month with Yungeen Ace and shared that he was hard at work on the highly anticipated project which he said will drop sometime in February.

When Ace asked what he was up to in the video, the “Super Gremlin” rapper said: “I’m just chilling finna drop this album next month.”

Kodak also name-dropped some artists that he’s collaborating with on the project, which includes Yungeen Ace and EST Gee. Kodak’s last album, Back For Everything, was released in February 2022 and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart, earning 60,000 album-equivalent units in its first week.

Kodak’s considerable catalog led him to recently get upset over the fact he doesn’t have numerous Grammys. Appearing in the studio with DJ Akademiks and YouTuber Adin Ross last month, he argued that his past success should have earned him some trophies.

“Y’all know I’m supposed to have a million Grammys,” Kodak said. “Ok, but fuck the Grammy’s, fuck the awards ’cause sometimes your shit don’t always come as a trophy.”

He continued: “Look how real n-ggas gotta get their awards. I count the Trump pardon — that’s my Grammy, that’s my award then.”
