Kim Kardashian’s Daughter North West Is Taking Break From TikTok As Page Is Temporary Banned
Kim Kardashian and North West faced a TikTok scare. Fans noticed on Thursday, April 6 that the mom and daughter duo’s joint TikTok account @kimandnorth was misteriously banned from the video-sharing platform.
In a screenshot that circulated online, it showed that the profile had been removed. “Account banned. The account kimandnorth is no longer available,” read the warning.

While TikTok has not yet provided an explanation for the removal, some Twitter users suspect that it may have something to do with age restrictions. The app currently has an age rating of 12+, while North will only turn 10 in June. Additionally, TikTok has a restricted version with additional privacy and safety protection for users under 13.
However, TMZ claimed that it was North who deliberately took down the account as she’s taking a break from the app for the time being. A source told the news outlet, “North has been more interested in focusing her creativity in other areas lately and is taking a break from TikTok. Like most kids, interests change often, so she may be back on as early as tomorrow – or never again.”
Thankfully, the eldest daughter of Kim and ex-husband Kanye West was quick to return to the app. By Thursday night, @kimandnorth, which boasts more than 454 million followers, was fully restored with all its contents.
While North has made use of the video-sharing app to share her creativity through lip-sync videos, drawing contents and cooking clips among others, Kim’s decision to let her join social media was publicly slammed by Ye. “Tell her don’t have my daughter wearing lipstick on TikTok and don’t have her on TikTok at all if I don’t approve that, and I said it after it was done without me knowing, and it happened again,” the “Donda” artist told host Jason Lee during his appearance on “Hollywood Unlocked” back in January 2022.
The Chicago star went on to rant, “So I feel like there’s some poking the bear, trying to antagonize me or create this, like, ‘crazy’ narrative. Because to say someone is crazy, they’re trying to take the power away and do anything to get people to not pay attention to me.”
