Kim Kardashian showed how she dealt with Kanye West’s erratic behavior on social media behind-the-scenes in the season 3 premiere of “The Kardashians”. Airing on Wednesday, May 24, the episode saw the mom of four getting emotional while talking about the matter.
In the episode, Kim got candid about how her ex-husband’s public tirades had a great impact on her mental health. In one scene, her mom Kris Jenner commented on Kim’s psoriasis rash on her leg. Kim replied, “Tell the father of my children to stop acting up, and then I won’t stress out and get psoriasis.”
The episode also saw Kim having a more emotional conversation with Kris about having a lengthy “anxiety attack.” She shared, “I felt like I couldn’t breathe all day.”
The SKIMS founder went on to talk about Ye’s online attacks on her family. Kim said, “I never comment. I never post. He has made up the most insane narrative about you [Kris], the [sex] tape, and we stay silent, we stay silent through all the lies, all the stuff.” The reality TV star added, “I think at this point I just assume that everything I text Kanye is going to be put on the Internet.”

Kim further noted that she’s most affected by how he lashed out at people she loves, like Kris. She divulged, “I think I can handle anything. I just get really heartbroken for my mom that she has to deal with so much from different sides and people coming at her.” Kris then assured Kim that it’s not on her to control Kanye, saying, “He’s doing this to himself.”
“All of his shenanigans — I don’t even know what the f**k to call it — is gonna be far more damaging to the kids one day than my tape will ever be,” Kim said of the four children North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm whom she shares with the rapper. “And I have to sit here and not say anything ever because I know one day my kids will appreciate that. And I know that is the best thing for them.”
The KKW Beauty founder said that despite the tension, she always praised Ye in front of her kids and “blasts” his music in the car. “I’m the one where s**t could be going down and I get in the car and every day the kids want to blast Dad’s music, and I’m like, ‘He’s the best! Yeah!’ And I put it on, and we’re singing along and inside I’m dying,” Kim shared. “I will be his biggest cheerleader to them forever. One day when they see for themselves, I’ll answer whatever they want me to, but it’s just a lot. The one who’s supposed to protect me and still does interviews saying he’s my biggest protector is the one that’s hurting me the most.”
In a confessional, the 42-year-old said that Kanye would sometimes ask her if he can have “approval” over what she said about him on the reality show. “I’m like, ‘You just talked about me in this song and this interview and you didn’t ask my permission!'” she pointed out. “And I never say anything bad or negative. If I say I’m exhausted, I feel guilty about that. I am f**king exhausted!”
Kim continued saying that she wanted to be able to “lose it just once.” She shared, “I don’t want to be part of this narrative. Like when is it going to end? It never will. I’m stuck with this for the rest of my life.” Kim was breaking down once again by the end of the discussion, saying, “I don’t want to talk about this anymore.”
