Kidi opens up on rumours claiming Wendy Shay snubbed him
Kidi has addressed a purported snub he suffered in the hands of Wendy Shay during the recent 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
The musician has asked Ghanaians to put the matter to bed because he finds nothing wrong with it.
After being named New Artiste of the Year at the awards ceremony, Kidi presented the award to Wendy Shay by giving her pecks on her cheeks.
But Wendy, after collecting the award, gave off a look that suggested she wasn’t happy with Kidi.
A similar fate befell Wendy Shay herself recently when she appeared to have also been subbed by a fellow musician, Kelvynboy, a situation many people have described as a payback.
At a press conference organised between Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale camps to announce peace, Kelvynboy hugged Bullet, shook hands with Shatta, Stonebwoy and Blakk Cedi but ignored Wendy Shay.
Kelvynboy has since come out to say his action wasn’t intentional as he was in a hurry to join his colleagues for a photo session.
Reacting to the Wendy Shay snub, however, Kidi appealed on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM for the public to disregarded such assertions.
He added that, Wendy Shay phoned him when she first saw the story asking him to disregard the reportage.
