KENYATTA HILL (CULTURE) AND GEORGES KOUAO TO VISIT GHANA
………………………

Jamaican reggae star artiste KENYATTA HILL, son of late Jamaican reggae icon JOSEPH HILL (popularly known as CULTURE) will pay a one-day visit to Ghana on the 2nd of April, 2019 from the USA en route to la Côte D’Ivoire on the 3rd of April. He would be accompanied by his Music Producer Mr. Georges Kouakou (of Alpha Blondy fame) and two sons of Mr. Kouakou, namely: Isaac Kwesi Kouakou and Emmanuel Kofi Kouakou, who are accomplished musicians.

Kenyatta Hill’s career begun the day his father’s ended. His father the late JOSEPH HILL, lead singer and songwriter for the legendary Jamaican vocal trio, CULTURE, collapsed and died while on a 2006 tour of Europe. To the amazement of promoters, fans and critics alike, his son Kenyatta Hill stepped on stage and delivered electrifying performances time and again – nineteen concerts in all – until the tour was completed. This was unheard of in any genre of music at any time.

Kenyatta gave himself totally – as his father had for so many years – that the two seemed to become one, the eerily similar voices and the vibes igniting the critics and yielding a new reggae mantra ‘magic, not tragic!’

CULTURE performed in Ghana at the Independence Square and the Accra Sports Stadium during PANAFEST 1994 and 1997 respectively.

Thank you.
