Keche targets the global market $500,000 bumper deal
Ghanaian music duo, Joshua Ampah and, known in showbiz as ”Keche” are keen on taking their music to the next level, having signed a bumper record deal worth $500,000.
The duo after bagging a $500,000 two-year record deal with Golden Empire Legacy Limited, has set sight on leaving a lasting legacy in the industry, as well extending their works around the world.
Ampah said, ”this is our second time being on a record label and I know artistes would sign deals which are favourable.
”Keche is a big brand and we can’t keep mute after signing on to a big company like Golden Empire and we are going to work hand in hand with the company to bring out hit songs,” he told the GNA.
Ampah, was aware of the concerns raised by music loving fans about their deal which happens to be one the biggest record deals in recent years.
”Ghanaian musicians should not feel inferior to other artistes across the globe. We deserve everything because we are talented and this deal is real,” he said.
Cudjoe on the other hand, emphasized the need to break into other music markets across the world as they look to sell Ghana’s music.
”We always want to cut across and lift the flag of Ghana high. So this time round, we have decided to explore other places with regards to selling our music as well as shooting a video.
”So our fans should expect some thrilling stuffs in the coming months especially as we celebrate our ten years in the game,” he said.
Keche, recently dropped a single titled ”Odo” which is undoubtedly making waves across the music landscape as they always noted for dropping back to back hits.
