Few weeks ago, there was a viral news report that King Promise, born Gregory Bortey Newman has expressed his profound gratitude to Sarkodie for helping push his career.
According to the ‘CCTV’ htimaker, it was Sarkodie who literally picked him from the street and connected him to the ‘big guys’ in the industry so he could succeed.
Reacting to this, ace music producer, Kaywa has patted King Promise on the shoulder for giving credit where it is due, adding that several artistes don’t often show gratitude like he did.
He took to his IG page and posted; “How many made artists can show this kind of gratitude? Rather, they go around saying you never did anything for them….I remember vividly when @sarkodie brought @iamkingpromise to my studio several years ago….sometimes it’s not about the money, but being Thankful…AND THATS WHAT TAKES YOU TO YOUR NEXT LEVEL!
