Kanye West has added to his long list of people he is beefing with as he called out Ice Spice just days after ripping Twitch streamer Kai Cenat.
The 46-year-old fashion mogul took to his Instagram Story to say that the 24-year-old rising rapper had recorded a verse for the new version of his track New Body but her team has decided to not clear it.
He took to his Instagram story to share a text post which read: ‘ICE SPICE SENT A VERSE IN FOR NEW BODY NOW HER TEAM IS SAYING WE CAN’T USE IT’
Ice -born Isis Naija Gaston – nor her team have responded to Ye’s allegations.
The track New Body has been in the works for quite some time as it was originally slated for inclusion on Kanye’s album Yandhi in 2018 which was never released.
Nicki Minaj was featured on the original version of the song and it was even included on the track list for Ye’s collaborative album Vultures with Ty Dolla Sign which was released last month.
However, the 41-year-old Trinidadian rapper declined the verse to be included on the release.
This was not the first time that this has happened as it was previewed at listening parties for Ye’s 2019 album Jesus Is King but it was ultimately scrapped due to creative differences between the two rap stars.
The track debunked body shaming and the stigma surrounding plastic surgery, however, the Jesus Is King version had Christian-themed lyrics.
In June 2020, Nicki had expressed interest in the song being released after a version leaked on TikTok, however, it never came to fruition.
Just days ago Ye responded in an astonishing fashion to American online streamer and YouTuber Kai Cenat, accusing the streamer of ‘dissing’ his YZY clothing range as fired out a warning, saying ‘don’t play with me’.
Kanye’s comments came after Kai, 22, was sent some clothing from West’s new YZY line, which he tried on for fans during a livestreaming service Twitch stream.
However, after he tried on a pair of tracksuit bottoms, they were considerably larger than he expected, leading him to ask for a smaller size.
Kai labelled the sizing of Kanye’s YZY clothing range as ‘crazy’, while demanding a smaller size of the same product as the tracksuit bottoms fell to his ankles.
Kanye fired back while the stream was still ongoing, retorting via a direct message on Instagram: ‘Don’t make no jokes about my clothes. When you ain’t saying nothing about what Adidas is doing.
‘When Vultures song came out you ain’t play my verse. You controlled. Don’t play with me,’ he added.
This saw the feud between the pair ignite almost instantly, as Kai retorted: ”Oh my god what the f**k!’
After reading it through, he was visibly confused by the rapper’s angry response and asked Kanye: ‘What the f**k did I do?!’
More back and forth messages between them followed, with Kai saying: ‘I hear you bro but ain’t no jokes was being said when I first opened up that package. I showed love instantly.’
The streamer continued: ‘All I did was try on the sweats and it didn’t fit. No jokes made. I immediately asked for a new pair.’
Kanye subsequently replied: ‘So you ain’t do nothing wrong? So I felt this way for no reason?’
Kai then simply responded with a one word answer, writing ‘Yes’, which Kanye did not take too kindly to.
Instead the rapper accused him of deliberately disrespecting his new clothing line: ‘F**k you… You was told to diss my sh**. You a pawn.’
The feud between the pair comes after Kai was freed from police custody just hours after he was arrested for inciting a riot in New York City’s Union Square on Friday August 4 2023.
Cenat was seen walking from the precinct with security in tow, but gave no comment to reporters standing by.
Following the riots, the NYPD arrested 65 people during the chaos that unfolded in Manhattan.
