Kanayo O. Kanayo, Emeka Ike, Nwankwo Kanu play exhibition match ahead of Ihedioha’s Inauguration

Nollywood stars and Nigerian football legends played in an exhibition match held in Owerri, Imo state as part of the activities lined up for the inauguration of the Governor-Elect, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha.

Nollywood stars Emeka Ike, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Osita Iheme, Tchidi Chikere as well as football greats like Nwankwo Kanu, Henry Nwosu, Uche Okechukwu and Samson Siasia played in the novelty football match.

Ihedioha will be inaugurated as Imo State governor on Wednesday, taking over from governor Rochas.

He won the 2019 Imo State governorship elections with 273,404 votes, beating his closest rival, Uche Nwosu of Action Alliance who scored 190,364 votes.
