“I think With pranks u sometimes have to roll that dice.”

We just posted about the backlash Justin Bieber received for partaking in April Fool’s and telling his fans that he and wife Hailey were expecting their first child. The innocent joke sparked a lot of anger from fans and followers who called the “Sorry” singer insensitive and disrespectful. “Don’t get me wrong, many of you know I have loved Justin Bieber for years. But him joking on Instagram that his wife is pregnant is insanely insensitive and tasteless given his platform and how many women struggle with fertility. Grow up,” one user shared.

Justin has now followed-up on his joke issuing an apology, explaining how a joke can be a risky move since you never know how people will take it. “There’s always gonna be people offended, there’s also people who don’t take jokes very well, I am a prankster and it was APRIL FOOLS. I didn’t at all mean to be insensitive to people who can’t have children,” he wrote on Instagram.

Justin detailed how he was “truly” sorry and his intentions are never to hurt anyone. He detailed how he once shoved cake in his sister’s face on her birthday expecting her to laugh, but she cried. “You sometimes just don’t know what will hurt someone’s feelings not to compare pregnancy with cake in the face but it’s just to paint the picture of not knowing what will offend. Some might have laughed but some were offended .. I think With pranks u sometimes have to roll that dice,” he added.
