Juelz Santana seems to be a fan to Chief Keef, crowning the Chicago rapper the G.O.A.T. of drill music in a recent social media post.
On Wednesday (July 20), the Dipset member took to his Instagram to praise Chief Keef for kicking the door wide open for drill music and all his counterparts to flood the Hip Hop scene.
In his post, Juelz took a screenshot of Chief Keef’s debut album, Finally Rich with a caption showing him praise: “THE DRILL [goat emojis] @chieffkeeffsossa… GIVE HIM HIS FLOWERS… LIKE IT OR NOT BOY CHANGED DA GAME…”

Finally Rich was released on December 18, 2012, and debuted at No. 29 on Billboard 200, moving over 50,000 copies in its first week. The album was pushed by several singles, most notably the smash hit “I Don’t Like” which peaked at No. 73 on the Billboard Hot 100 and ended up on several year-end lists.
This isn’t the first time Juelz has given Chief Keef his flowers. He did something similar in 2017 when he asked his IG followers if they thought Finally Rich was one of the classics for the new school.
“I could b wrong but 4 the new generation this had to be a classic…I think so… What y’all think.. @chieffkeeffsossa,” Juelz wrote.
Chief Keef isn’t the only Chicago artist that Juelz Santana has been keeping an eye on. In May, Juelz took to his Instagram to post a snippet of a song he’s got coming with Lil Durk. The record is said to be tentatively titled “Ten Toes” and features Smurk turning back the clock and lacing Juelz with an auto-tinged verse about streets.
“IM COMING… YALL N-GGAZ KNOW ME SANTANA x DURKIO On Da Way..O Yea Got A Lil Surprise On There 2.. #OffPappers #BackOutSide,” Juelz wrote in the caption of his post.
