The Johnny Depp – Amber Heard soap opera has been one of the stories in 2022, as the actor was accused of mistreatment and sexual abuse by his ex-wife but was found not guilty.
The pair reached a settlement which means the the Pirates of the Caribbean actor will receive one million dollars, and he’s now said what he’s going to do with the money.

All appears to be settled and after the mutual agreement, the actress confessed to the media that, despite the saga, she still had feelings for Depp: “Yes. Yes. Absolutely. I love him.”
For his part, Depp’s lawyers explained what he’s going to do with the money.
“We are pleased to formally close the door on this painful chapter for Mr Depp, who made clear throughout this process that his priority was about bringing the truth to light,” Depp’s attorneys Benjamin Chew and Camille Vasquez wrote in a statement.
“The jury’s unanimous decision and the resulting judgement in Mr Depp‘s favor against Ms Heard remain fully in place.
“The payment of one million dollars – which Mr Depp is pledging and will donate to charities – reinforces Ms Heard‘s acknowledgement of the conclusion of the legal system’s rigorous pursuit for justice.”
