Johnny Depp was greeted by enthusiastic fans as he stepped out in Boston Thursday.

The 59-year-old sported an eclectic look that included a blue cotton jacket, a striped button down shirt and gray pants.

The actor added some splashes of color with green sneakers, and an aubergine belt.

His graying beard was cropped close to his face.

The star has joined rocker Jeff Beck, 78, on tour. The duo were scheduled to play in Boston Thursday and are set to play across the US through November 12.

Many of the fans who waited for a glimpse of the actor held signs for inviting him to come speak with them.

The Black Mass star obliged and signed autographs.

The actor has recently wrapped work on the film, Jeanne du Barry, in which he plays King Louis XV of France.

The film is being directed by Maïwenn, who also stars as the title character.

The French actress plays a young courtesan who went on to become the king’s official mistress.

The film is supposed to be his comeback vehicle after many the gory details of his marriage to former wife Amber Heard were aired during his defamation lawsuit against his former spouse.

The big budget period piece has no release date yet, but is expected to make to the big screen sometime in 2023.
