Actor John Dumelo was at the University of Ghana, Legon on Thursday where he shared breakfast with students of Volta Hall.
The activity was part of the all-female hall’s annual Hall Week celebration.
Taking to Twitter to share his experience, Dumelo wrote: “I prepared breakfast for the ladies of Volta hall this morning as part of their hall week celebrations. We had oats, Koko, bread, cheese, apples, grapes etc. Thanks for having me over ladies…”
“Thanks for the breakfast John,” one of the students wrote.
“Someone please tell J. Melo, I really wanted to hug him today. I was super excited and I couldn’t help the tears as they flowed from my eyes @johndumelo1 please respond when you see this,” another wrote.
Co-industry star, Yvonne Nelson, lauded her colleague in a tweet saying, “Great job John!”
John Dumelo had declared his intention to context the Ayawaso West Wuogon – where University of Ghana falls – but he pulled out of the race for different reasons by the media.
Reports say the actor kum entrepreneur is gearing up to contest the seat in 2020, reason for his increasing communion with the university’s students.
