The superstar’s latest film, ‘Atlas,’ recently premiered on the streaming service
Jennifer Lopez had to see for herself Netflix’s billboard in Los Angeles extolling people to not mess with her, as her latest film, Atlas, premiered on the streaming service.
Along with Netflix, the superstar, 54, shared an Instagram clip on Friday, May 24, that began with her riding inside a car.
“So a bunch of people were messaging me yesterday telling me about this billboard that Netflix put up for Atlas,” Lopez said in the reel. “So I want to go see it for myself.”
The clip then jumped to her looking through the car window as she said, “Okay, here it is!”
The next cut is a scene of the Netflix billboard that read in all caps: “DON’T F WITH JLO.”
Lopez also posed in front of another billboard advertising Atlas alongside a life-size-looking replica of a mech from the movie.
“Oh look, it’s smoking,” she said of the robotic suit. “It just crashed.”
The mom of two then added, “You guys got to watch the movie. Just came out today.”
Before the video ended, Lopez told her viewers with a smile, “And just a little friendly reminder from over there,” with the “DON’T F WITH JLO” billboard looming in the background.
Ahead of Atlas’ premiere, Netflix shared an image of the “DON’T F WITH JLO” billboard in an X post on May 23, with the caption: “Any questions.”
Lopez reshared a pic of the billboard, which was previously posted by Atlas costar Gregory James Cohan on her Instagram Stories the same evening.
Lopez returned to Los Angeles after a promotional tour in Mexico, where she brushed off a reporter who interrupted the Atlas panel with a question about rumors concerning her marriage to Ben Affleck. She responded to his inquiry: “You know better than that.”
Her costar Simu Liu, who was sitting next to her, immediately responded, “Okay we’re not doing that… Thank you so much guys, we really appreciate it. Thank you.”
