Jennifer Lopez is taking “some time and space to reflect” on her marriage, according to a relationship expert.
The “On The Floor” hitmaker, 54, jetted off to Italy on vacation this week without husband Ben Affleck as divorce rumors continue to plague the pair’s relationship.
As she takes some time for herself in Positano, a cliffside village on southern Italy’s Amalfi Coast — Affleck is staying put in sunny Los Angeles.
Lopez’s “solo trip to Italy is another sign that things may not be going well in her marriage with Ben Affleck,” relationship expert Louella Alderson told the Mirror.
“They seem to have spent a lot more time apart recently, with Ben even moving out of their shared home and back into his own place.”
Alderson says that Lopez’s trip “suggests that there may be some underlying issues or conflicts in their relationship that they are trying to work through.”
“It’s possible that Jennifer’s trip to Italy is allowing her some time and space to reflect on her marriage and what she wants for her future,” she said, adding that the mom of two is likely making decisions “about her next steps.”
Alderson suggested that Affleck’s decision to stay home shows that the pair are “focusing on their own separate lives for the time being.”

In photos obtained by TMZ, the “Selena” actress was spotted at a hotel in Positano on Wednesday, where she and a few friends made their way toward the water and boarded a boat.
Lopez had her beach body on display, wearing a yellow bandeau top, a pair of yellow shorts and a matching jacket, which she wore hanging off her arms at her elbows.
Reports that the pair are headed for divorce began to surface after Lopez attended the Met Gala solo last month.
Since then, the pair have reportedly sold their $60 million Beverly Hills mansion.
