Jennifer Lopez ditches Ben necklace for one with her own name amid Affleck divorce rumors
It’s out with the old.
Jennifer Lopez was seen rocking a new “Jennifer” nameplate necklace as she left Equinox in the Hamptons on Friday amid rumors that she and Ben Affleck are heading for divorce.
The gold necklace was covered in sparkling diamonds — unlike the “Jennifer” necklace she rocked last July, which featured her name in capital letters and was gold with no embellishment.
The “On the Floor” hitmaker seems to have an affinity for personalized necklaces and has previously rocked several pieces that paid tribute to her husband.
In February — the month before she and Affleck are thought to have gone their separate ways — she sported a gold nameplate necklace that featured his last name written in cursive.
She also owns a gold necklace that spells out “BEN” with individual letter charms and a gold heart, which she was seen wearing in 2021 and again in 2023.
In 2022, Lopez showed off a new personalized necklace that spelled “Jennifer & Ben” in cursive. The customizable 14k yellow gold necklace was purchased from Jennifer Zeuner and retails for a minimum of $176.
While the relationship-flaunting pieces were nowhere to be found as she left her workout session Friday, the “Atlas” star kept her wedding band on. Her ring finger was completely bare when she left the gym on Thursday, though.
Lopez, 54, has taken to summer in New York as Affleck, 51, remains in Los Angeles as he focuses on work.
They even spent their second wedding anniversary on opposite coasts.
Their anniversary fell on Tuesday, and the Grammy-nominated singer was spotted spending time with her longtime manager, Benny Medina, on Long Island.
She also enjoyed a dinner at the hot new Italian joint Arthur & Sons in Bridgehampton with her son, Max, and an assistant.
Meanwhile, Affleck was seen heading into his office.
While neither star has publicly commented on the state of their marriage, an insider told Page Six that Affleck is ready for divorce.
“He feels like the last two years was just a fever dream, and he’s come to his senses now and understands there is just no way this is going to work,” they explained.
Lopez, meanwhile, reportedly feels as if she has done everything possible to save their marriage.
The duo eloped in Las Vegas in 2022 before holding a formal ceremony for family and friends at the actor’s 87-acre property near Savannah, Ga.
Their nuptials came 20 years after they were originally engaged to be wed.
