“She’s great,” the former NFL star said of the pop superstar during an appearance on ‘The Rich Eisen Show’ on Monday, Nov. 25
Jason Kelce has nothing but praise for Taylor Swift.
During an appearance on the latest episode of The Rich Eisen Show, which aired on Monday, Nov. 25, Jason, 37, mentioned his brother Travis Kelce’s relationship with the pop superstar, 34, and told host Eisen, 55, “She’s great.”
While discussing his decision not to give out tickets to Swift’s concerts, despite her telling him he could, the Philadelphia Eagles alum continued, “She’s been nothing but lovely to our family, she’s a wonderful person and I don’t want that to kind of be a dynamic.”
“It is an immediate no,” he added of if anybody does ask him to hook them up with tickets. “As much as Taylor has said she will take care of anybody that I ask for.”
“She does say that, she’s very…she’s great but I still say no to everybody,” he continued. “I’m not gonna be the one to impose on that. I don’t want to put that position out there.”
Elsewhere in the chat, Jason — who made his debut on ESPN’s Monday Night Football in September — spoke about his success over the past couple of years. He announced his retirement from the NFL after 13 seasons with the Eagles in March.
“Very weird that a center is on the TV as much as I am, but I’m just running with it, having fun…pretty much it!” he told Eisen, adding that it’s been a “whirlwind.”
Jason doesn’t hold back when it comes to discussing his love for Swift, with him revealing the song his 3-year-old daughter Elliotte hadn’t been able to stop singing during a Sept. 4 appearance on the Pivot Podcast.
“I’ve been listening a lot to ‘I Can Do It with a Broken Heart,’ ” the dad of three — soon to be four — shared at the time.
“There’s a line in that where ‘I’m a real tough kid. I can handle my s—,’ ” Jason, who is also dad to daughters Wyatt, 5, and 21-month-old Bennett, added, “Ellie’s 3 years old and she says, ‘I’m a real tough kid. I can handle my stuff.’ That’s all I hear on a daily basis, because it gets a laugh out of me every time.”
Travis first sparked dating rumors with the “Fortnight” hitmaker in September 2023. The power couple went public with their romance the following month when they were photographed holding hands as they attended the SNL afterparty at Catch Steak in New York City.
