Just days ahead of the contest, Kylie also declared on her new podcast, “I can’t wait to see who wins”
Jason Kelce is the latest celeb to have a fan lookalike contest held in his honor.
On Saturday, Dec. 14, crowds of bearded men filled Philadelphia’s Rittenhouse Square Park for their shot at being crowned the ultimate Jason doppelgänger and earn a cash prize. Some nailed the physical characteristics of the retired Eagles player, while others missed the mark.
The contest was hosted by Instagram user @lexaprotaganist, who posted an advertisement on Dec. 13, thanking several other accounts for spreading the word about the event.
“Thank you to @crossingbroad @phillyinquirer for your early support of the event,” read the caption of the post. “Thank you @claireegill and @noahwoodtheman of @campcrushcomedy for helping me connect the digital comedy world with the physical world. And shout out to @birdgangspirits spirits Philadelphia for throwing us some goodies to give away. PHILLAAAAAAY. LETS ROCK.”
The flyer, which says the event was “Bird Gang approved,” a reference to an Eagles fan group, encouraged attendees to “wear green.”
The event organizer later posted a Reel featuring footage from the contest crowd, along with the caption: “HAVE NO WORDS RIGHT NOW EXCEPT ONE – WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.”
Just days ahead of the contest, Jason’s wife, Kylie Kelce, talked about the competition on the second episode of her new podcast, Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce, saying “I can’t wait to see who wins.”
Kylie, 32, also shared some helpful fashion tips for those who were planning on entering the contest, suggesting that people wear “a heavy sweater,” particularly one that has “some type of design on it.” She also suggested velour tracksuits that sport the Italian flag — and it appears that many people took her advice.
The official Instagram for the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau shared a clip taken at the event which shows a number of contenders sporting their best Jason Kelce looks, with attire that included tracksuits, Eagles hats and the retired athlete’s signature flip-flops.
The post is captioned: “Will the real Jason Kelce please stand up?”
Jason’s Mummers outfit from the Eagles’ 2018 Super Bowl victory parade was also a popular costume choice for contest participants.

The Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau’s post received more than 48,000 likes and drew comments such as “They ALL look like him” and “The Jason Kelce multiverse 😂.”
In the end, a contestant sporting a case of Garage Beer — a brand co-owned by Jason — can be seen being declared the winner in a video posted by Crossing Broad.
