J. Cole sets it off with a major announcement.

Lo and behold, a J. Cole rollout is officially upon us. It would appear that the Dreamville rapper has kicked off “Album Mode” in high fashion, first purging his Instagram of all content, then sharing fragmented lyrics, and now, announcing a new single in the imminent future. The track, a T-Minus-produced single titled “Middle Child,” is set to drop this Wednesday, the 23rd, at 9pm. In other words, J. Cole fans and Dreamville advocates are about to witness a spectacle to behold.

It’s unclear whether or not the track will be a taste of Revenge Of The Dreamers 3, a piece of The Fall Off, a glimpse of The Off Season, or a straight-up Kill-Edward joint. Either way, it’s clear that Cole is on the verge of yet another prolific run, and all signs point to a man on a mission. Be sure to keep a watchful eye for that “Middle Child” joint, arriving this Wednesday night.
