I’ve been paid GH¢100 for a role in a movie – Fred Amugi
Celebrated Ghana Actor, Fred Amugi has disclosed in his quest to make it in the industry he was once paid GH¢100 by a producer of a movie, MyNewsGh.com has filed.
According to him, that has been his lowest pay ever since he joined the movie industry more than two decades ago.
He made this known when he was interviewed by Bola Ray on the Starr Chat on Starr FM on Wednesday, January 30, 2019
The veteran actor mentioned that the producer paid that amount of money because he “just flashed through the movie in one scene”.
He mentioned that feeling insulted by the amount, he told the producer he made the appearance for free.
