Swift endorsed Kamala Harris, who is running against Ivanka’s father Donald Trump in the presidential election, in September
Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour stop in Miami featured a famous face in the crowd: Ivanka Trump.
Ivanka, the daughter of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, took her 13-year-old daughter Arabella and friends to see Swift in concert at Hard Rock Stadium over the weekend, sources tell PEOPLE.
The outing comes just weeks after Swift, 34, announced her endorsement of Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, prompting Donald Trump to issue a blunt statement to social media that read, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!”
Ivanka, 42, shares Arabella with husband Jared Kushner, and previously revealed her daughter’s passion for the pop superstar on her birthday in July. To celebrate, Arabella received a white heart cake that read, “Boys only want love if it’s torture,” a line from Swift’s 2014 hit “Blank Space.”
“Best cake for my favorite Swiftie,” Ivanka captioned an Instagram photo of the dessert, which had been cut into and was covered in red, echoing the cake featured in the “Blank Space” music video.
Ahead of the election, Donald Trump was using Swift’s likeness for his campaign, sharing posts to social media that featured campaign merch inspired by the Eras Tour.
In her endorsement of Harris, which she shared to Instagram on Sept. 10, Swift said she was unsettled by Trump using her likeness to promote his campaign.
“Recently I was made aware that AI of ‘me’ falsely endorsing Donald Trump’s presidential run was posted to his site. It really conjured up my fears around AI, and the dangers of spreading misinformation,” she wrote. “It brought me to the conclusion that I need to be very transparent about my actual plans for this election as a voter. The simplest way to combat misinformation is with the truth.”
