International dancehall act, Livingstone Etse Satekla, better known by his stage name Stonebwoy has declared that it will take the Ghanaian music industry 40 years to replace Shatta Wale, Sarkodie and himself.
The three ‘S-legends’ in the Ghanaian music industry have reigned for years and continue to be the stars emulated and celebrated by many music lovers.
The artistes have been innovational in their act by creating camps for themselves which they preside over. Shatta Wale is noted for starting the Shatta Movement whiles Stonebwoy and Sarkodie remain presidents of Bhim Nation and Sark Nation respectively.
According to the Bhim Nation president, the country must start treating them as national assets who must be given the needed protection.
Stonebwoy who was performing at the 2019 4syte Video Awards paused and said;
“Big up to SM, Shatta Wale my brother and Sarkodie my brother. It will take another 40 years to find me, Sarkodie and Shatta in this industry. We are national assets, if you like don’t protect, if you like protect.”
Stonebwoy went ahead to acknowledge his mentor, Samini and cautioned upcoming artistes to be wary of their action and show enough respect to their seniors.
He said, “Big ups to Samini my Godfather and the upcoming artistes who don’t respect they have to sit well.”
Shatta Wale was the biggest winner at the 10th 4syte Video Awards as he bagged five awards including the Most Popular Video Award.
