‘I’m Not Controversial, I’m Just Myself In A Different Land’ – Efia Odo Explains Why Ghanaians Are Just ‘Backwards’ People Not Used To Her Yankee Life

Efia Odo is on Hitz Fm this hot Monday morning speaking about issues surrounding her and why she always seems to be in the news for negative reasons.

Odo typically stirs controversy with her comments and actions – flaunting her bikini bod on social media or stating she loves dating fraud boys – but when asked she denies she’s as controversial as Ghanaians see her to be.

According to Efia, she’s just being herself but the problem seems to be that Ghanaians are not used to her kind of lifestyle.

“I am not controversial. I think I am myself in a different land,” Odo said on Daybreak Hitz.

Odo has lived a huge chunk of her life in the U.S and she explained that she’s not used to being around Ghanaians, same as Ghanaians are not used to being around someone like her; therefore acts she sees as normal are seen as controversial by Ghanaians.
