‘I’m Not Cheap’- Shatta Wale On Why He Did Not Perform At Cardi B’s Concert

Dancehall act, Shatta Wale has provided a clue on why he failed to appear on stage at the LiveSpot X Festival which was headlined by American rapper Cardi B at the Accra Sports Stadium.

There were a lot of controversies leading up to the concert and when the show itself started, the size of crowd was not encouraging at all.

Moreover there were some technical issues which prevented the likes of Sarkodie and Shatta Wale from performing.

Shatta Wale although did not state directly why he did not perform, he has stated in a video that he won’t perform at any show when the crowd is not up to standard.

Shatta Wale in the video was heard saying:

“In 2020 if you organize a concert and the crowd is not up to my standard, brother anogo come !!!

I am not that cheap my nigga 

Artiste should learn how to read and sign a contract

I am a Lawyer by myself”

This could mean he refused to perform after he got to know about the low attendance.
