Ghanaian rapper, Edem has given his opinion on the Stonebwoy-gun issue, according to him,  if it is, is unacceptable by the government to allow artistes carry guns for protection then politicians should not be also allowed to have guns

His comment comes after the fracas that ensued between Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale camps at the recently held VGMA 2019 which led to Stonebwoy pulling out a gun.

Buttressing his point, he said Artiste are adult who must protect themselves from harm and if the government wants to prevent an artiste from carrying a gun then politicians must also stop carry guns.

He said;
I mean you’re an adult and you must protect yourself. You have a family, kids, house and so you must protect yourself and your family once it’s licensed. so I don’t think they should cease an adult’s gun once it’s licensed then if so they should also cease ministers who carry guns too, cos all the ministers, corporate people too carry guns

Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale have made peace and buried their hatchets. At a Peace Conference last Tuesday they officially announced their new found friendship to the public.
