ICE CUBE RESPONDS TO ‘UNHINGED’ SUGE KNIGHT CLAIMS WITH BRUTAL STORY

Ice Cube and Suge Knight have seemingly always been rivals, but the NWA vet still won’t let wild stories about his longtime adversary stand unchallenged.

During an appearance on the Impaulsive podcast with Logan Paul on Tuesday (May 16), the provocateur host attempted to goad the “No Vaseline” rapper into spilling some tea about the embattled Death Row honcho — but Cube didn’t take the bait.

“Isn’t Suge a little unhinged?” asked Paul, to which Cube replied dismissively: “I don’t know.”

Undeterred, Paul tried again, claiming that Suge “ran over someone, twice,” but Cube doubled down with his answer. “I don’t know about that,” he replied again.

However, Cube didn’t leave Paul and his co-host completely empty handed on the subject of Suge Knight, recalling “one of the funniest stories” he’s ever heard about the incarcerated record executive.

“Suge had an apartment full of producers,” Cube said. “I guess they wasn’t coming up with the right songs. And he gathered them all up and said, ‘Look, either y’all start producing some hits, or I’ma start producing some hits.’”

Elsewhere in the interview, Logan Paul asked Ice Cube to address the conspiracy theory surrounding Eazy-E‘s death. According to some conspiracy theorists, the late rapper — who died in 1995 due to AIDS-induced pneumonia — contracted HIV after Knight allegedly injected the “Straight Outta Compton” rapper with an IV needle that contained the virus.

Cube, once again, didn’t take the bait. “How would he do that?” he asked, puzzled. “Nah I think if somebody poke you with one of them goddamn needles, you’ll know. You’ll know.”

While Ice Cube didn’t go out of his way to trash Suge Knight, another former colleague — Mack 10 — recently revealed that he and Cube hadn’t spoken to one another in two decades.

The West Coast rap veteran was asked about his long-running rift with his former Westside Connection groupmate in an interview with Bootleg Kev, admitting their relationship has remained frosty since they parted ways back in the mid-2000s.

“I fuck with who fuck with me, you dig? That’s where I’m at with it. If you fuck with me, I fuck with you. But if it’s fuck me, it’s fuck you,” Mack said. “I ain’t seen him or talked to him in damn near 20 years, so there it is.”

Their bad blood has even deterred Mack from listening to Cube’s Mount Westmore album with Snoop Dogg, Too $hort, and E-40, which dropped in December.

“I’ve heard bits and pieces of it, but not really,” he replied when asked if he’s heard the West Coast supergroup’s debut project. “Westside Connection was a movement. It was a little different.”
