South African rapper AKA is beating the war drum ahead of Burna Boy’s visit to South Africa.
Recall that during the recent disturbances in South Africa where migrants, especially Nigerians were attacked in a renewed xenophobic attacks, Nigerian celebrities, led by Burna Boy started war of words with AKA who supported the attacks with his loose comments on social media by saying foreigners have taken all the jobs at the expense of South Africans.
An angry Burna Boy insulted AKA and threatened to beat him up physically when they meet face too face. He also vowed not to step foot in South Africa because of the xenophobic attacks.
Although he said he won’t be South Africa for the rest of his life, Burna Boy is scheduled to headline the Africans Unite concert in Mzansi, South Africa.
The concert was announced this week and will include performances from Kwesta, Jidenna, Busiswa and many more.
As response to this, AKA has dared the Nigerian star on Twitter, tweeting, “I would love to attend this show and watch this man put his hands on me in my own country.“
