I use profane words in my songs because I’m a Hip-hop artiste – Pappy Kojo

Ghanaian hip-hop artiste, Pappy Kojo, born Jason Gaisie has explained the rationale behind the use of profane words in most of his songs.

Pappy Kojo since his introduction into the music space has been known for using vulgar words in his songs. It is what most of his fans have known him for.

According to Pappy in an interview with Amansan Krakye on Radio Central, doing hip-hop is about being a rebel and going against the rules; a reason why he uses vulgar words in his rap and it is something he won’t stop.

“It’s hip-hop oo. I don’t do highlife I do hip-hop. Hip hop is going against the rules. Hip-hop is being a rebel and going against the rules so nobody can choose the words I should use in hip-hop for me. Today I can say this, the next day I can say something else. It’s hip hop”, he told Amansan Krakye on Radio Central’s drive.

Pappy Kojo is out with a new hip hop jam titled “Uoma” featuring Sarkodie and KiddBlack.
