Over the weekend, reports went viral that Tracey had over GHC 200,000 invested with the embattled gold trading firm.
The report indicated that, aside Tracey, other celebrities had also invested in the gold dealership company.
But the actress in a video which she posted on her Instagram page said she doesn’t have any account with Menzgold.
“I saw this list on social media trending that my name is among those whose monies have been taken away. Please I don’t have any account with Menzgold and I have never saved at Menzgold,” she said.
Tracey added that she had never been to Menzgold offices, stressing that she doesn’t know anything about Menzgold.
She concluded by intimating that she had nothing to do with Menzgold nor had an investment there. In other news, the headquarters of the Dubai police has denied knowledge of the arrest of the CEO of embattled gold firm Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah, as widely reported in the media.
Checks with the police in Dubai revealed that they had not arrested any Ghanaian national in the last few weeks in relation to a gold scam as it’s been reported in Ghana by several media outlets.
