I don’t regret saying Charterhouse should have punished Stonebwoy – James Gardiner
Actor James Gardiner is standing firmly behind his remarks that the board of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards was quite biased in their meting out of the punishment to Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale for their brawl at the 2019 VGMA.
Even though the talented actor has come under a lot of verbal attacks on social media for those remarks, he tells Zionfelix that he is not moved at all because he is fully aware that everybody in Ghana is fully entitled to his view.
The Zylofon Media signed actor stressed that his remarks in no way meant that he was passing any judgment and a declaration of the person who was at a bigger fault in the matter, especially when he does not have that power as the case is in the hands of Ghana’s judiciary now.
He added that the messages and discussions he has had with some of his peers and other stakeholders in the industry have however opened his eyes to the fact that the remarks at the time they were uttered were not the best in as much as he was trying to be very neutral.
Asked if he has in any way regretted those comments then, James Gardiner was quick to reply that it was not the case because he was just trying to be a very neutral person even though he is a big Stonebwoy fan.
The two musicians at the center of all these controversies, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy met yesterday, May 30 to iron out their differences. This was confirmed by a picture they both posted on their social media pages
