The controversy as to why many of the Ghanaian movie stars are gradually leaving the craft they are associated with, for TV presentation has caused one of Ghana’s finest faces on the screens, actress Emelia Brobbey to explain why she has moved into TV presentations in recent times.
Speaking on the ‘Uncut’ show hosted by Zionfelix during a charity event at actress Luckie Lawson’s place recently, Emelia revealed that her decision to add TV presentation to her occupation was because she saw it as another opportunity to impact knowledge into people and her viewers since she was trained as a professional teacher. She stressed that it has nothing to do with the perception that the movie industry is dying.
Sharing her views on whether or not the movie industry is dying, the ‘Okukuseku’ show host emphatically debunk the assertion. She added that every trade an individual will engage in at some point in time will see a little decline but that does not necessarily mean that the particular industry is dead, which is the current challenge being faced by the Ghanaian movie industry.
The ‘Adofoasa’ actress further urged the many Ghanaian movie loving fans out there to make sure they do not lose hope in the local movie industry because she is very optimistic that the industry will bounce back bigger and better very soon.
