I abandoned my national service to pursue music – Quamina MP

Ghanaian artist, Quamina MP has revealed that he could not go ahead with his national service after his tertiary education because he was musically inclined at that time.

The former product of Ghana Telecom University was supposed to do his national service right after his studies as mandated by law but he dodged it only to become a music star the next minute.

The rapper revealed this during an interview with Homebase Television adding that another factor which made him shun the service was the distance between his workplace and his house.

He said he was broke that and could not keep up with transportation fees and his welfare so he opted to pursue his dreams instead.
