Huawei has Introduces new smartphones with auto pop-up selfie Camera called Huawei Y9 Prime 2019.

The new device adds up to the Y series and it is a break from conventional smartphone designs.

A statement copied to the Ghana News Agency explained that the new auto pop-up front camera was invisible during daily usage, and is automatically activated when the user switches to the front camera.

It said the Y9 Prime 2019 had the largest display on a Y series phone to date, measuring at a mighty 6.59 inches, users would get a phone display that comes in 19.5:9 aspect ratio free from any notches, holes or sliders.

The statement said the screen is Full High Definition Plus with a 2340 x 1080 resolution that displayed photos in authentic colours, filter harmful blue light emissions, intelligently adjusts the colour temperature and brightness, to protect eyes of users against strain.

The device the statement said had been developed to support artificial intelligence and accurate scene and object recognition.

“A total of eight scenarios are supported by the AI feature. The phone’s AI implements diverse photographic effects, such as butterfly lighting, by reconstructing the light source to provide 3D portrait lighting for selfies and portraits,” it said.

According to the statement the back cover on the HUAWEI Y9 Prime 2019 had been divided into thirds, upper third houses the camera and fingerprint scanner and the bottom two-thirds were minimalistic, with a darker-hued backdrop, set against the logo in the lower left corner.

It said the back cover was composed of 3D composite material that glimmers like glass, and was durable and shatter-resistant, providing both practical and aesthetic value.

The smartphone, it said was developed in three colours namely the Midnight Black, Sapphire Blue and Emerald Green.
