Gunna Sparks Viral Memes After Instagram Unfollowing Drama

Gunna has been the target of several memes on social media which poke fun at his rap peers unfollowing him on Instagram.

Ever since taking a plea deal in the YSL RICO case and stating that the collective is a record label and also allegedly a gang, Gunna has been dragged on social media for snitching. Rappers have been unfollowing him on Instagram, including Meek Mill and Lil Baby, which has given people more ammunition to crack jokes.

The latest round of jabs come in the form of memes that show several companies, real and fictional people unfollowing the rapper. “Joe Biden has unfollowed Gunna on Instagram,” one post joked, while another said: “Peppa Pig has unfollowed Gunna on Instagram.”

A third person took things to another level and shared a picture of Gunna’s follower count hitting zero, tweeting: “Everyone has unfollowed Gunna on Instagram.”

Gunna has been having a difficult time ever since taking a plea deal that guaranteed his freedom. He was seemingly dissed by Lil Durk over the weekend when a snippet of a new song found the Chicago rapper taking shots at Gunna.

“What happened to Virgil? He probably gon’ tell/ I let him go because Timo ain’t selling/ Thank 7 and Booka, I’m bragging on Melvin/ When lil boo and them mad, it ain’t nothing you can tell them/ I can tell you what I did for the streets/ You got the paperwork, did it and reached/ I got on Clubhouse and got in the beef” he raps on the song.

Gunna’s longtime collaborator Lil Baby has also unfollowed him. A search for Wunna’s name in Baby’s followers list came up empty, as spotted by eagle-eyed fans.

The 4PF hitmaker was one of Gunna’s closest and most successful collaborators, with the duo joining forces on the platinum mixtape Drip Harder in 2018, as well as songs like “Chanel (Go Get It),” “Heatin Up” and “25K Jacket.”

Members of Gunna’s YSL family haven’t been rocking with him either. According to a post shared by DJ Akademiks, the camp is not happy with a post the rapper shared in tribute to YSL.

“YSL having a civil war beef on Instagram,” the media personality wrote on Twitter earlier this month. “Gunna came out and tried testing the water…claiming YSL the label and said Free Thugga…and everybody in ysl looking at gunna like ‘N-gga u the reason he in there’…they all unfollowed him right after even thug sister.”
