Gunna says it wasn’t his favorite song off of “Drip Harder.”

Gunna
been enjoying the fruits of his labor lately. The rapper is fresh off the release of his debut studio album, Drip Or Drown 2. The rapper’s latest project comes after a jam-packed year filled with major collaborations. Drip Season 3 dropped at the top of 2018 and since then, he became one of the most sought after feature guests. One collaboration that stood out particularly was Drip Harder, his joint project with Lil Baby. In a recent interview with DJ Whoo, Gunna revealed the song he was most excited for on Drip Harder and the one he was least hyped for.

Not everyone gets a Drake verse, especially for emerging artists. However, Drake developed a relationship with Lil Baby last year which led to the top 10 single, “Yes Indeed.” While Drake did contribute to Drip Harder, Gunna and Turbo admitted that the song didn’t really stick out to them especially in comparison to the project’s lead single, “Drip Too Hard.”

“We weren’t even hyped about that song,” Gunna said. “I know I wasn’t.”

Turbo agreed with what Gunna said, adding, “That was like, let’s get it out.”

“The song cool, but it wouldn’t be my first song to pick,” Gunna continued before he said “Drip Too Hard” was the “one.”
