Giada De Laurentiis Says ‘All Is Well’ After ‘Minor’ Sinus Surgery: ‘Blissful Recovery’

Giada De Laurentiis is recovering from surgery!
The former Food Network star, 53, revealed that she underwent “minor” sinus surgery in an Instagram post on Friday, May 17.
“Blissful recovery ❤️???? Had a minor sinus surgery this morning — all is well, but going to spend the weekend right here recovering with the fam. Just missing Jadey!” wrote De Laurentiis.
The post included a photo of the Giadzy founder smiling as she relaxed in bed with her boyfriend, Shane Farley, and their pets.

“Feel better really soon! Sending well wishes,” commented one fan. Another wrote, “I wish you a speedy recovery ❤️???? hope you feel better soon ????.”
It’s no surprise that their furry friends were helping De Laurentiis through her recovery, as she previously told PEOPLE that she enjoys having a “pets-on-the-couch” kind of household.
“I’ve had many people come over and be like, ‘Your dogs are allowed to sleep on the couch?’ That kind of time for us is bonding time … I just like it,” De Laurentiis told PEOPLE in September 2022.
The post comes days after De Laurentiis sent her daughter Jade, 16, off to prom. Jade is De Laurentiis’ only child with her ex-husband Todd Thompson.
De Laurentiis shared a glimpse of the special moment with her fans by posting an Instagram photo of Jade wearing a strapless white lace minidress with sparkly heels.
“Sending Jadey off to prom last night ????????,” De Laurentiis wrote. The teenager also recently celebrated another big milestone — turning 16.
In March, De Laurentiis shared Instagram photos from the birthday celebration in Hawaii, writing, ” Today is Jadey’s sweet 16– where does the time go? She is the most kind, beautiful, caring, smart young lady and I’m so lucky to call her mine ????.”
