Full List Of List Nominations For 2019 VGMAs
The full list of nominations for the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) is here and we are excited as the biggest music award scheme in the country will be honoring musicians and other stake holders.
The various categories were announced during the day and Ghbase.com kept updating this page for the 2019 VGMA nominees and now it’s all over and we know who got nominated in each category.
As expected, some names were missing in some categories and then also there are those who had nominations in certain categories that shocked us.
We are shocked Patapaa was able to make it in the HipLife/Hip Hop category and there are others too we are shocked at their nominations but we would keep that for another update.
As expected, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, Kuami Eugene, King Promise and Joe Mettle made it in the artiste of the year category.
There’s also a new category, ‘Best African Collaboration’ to sort of inspire our artistes to do more collaborations with other African artistes on the continent.
