French Montana has announced that the sixth installment of his Coke Boys mixtape series will be dropping this month, and it will be arriving as a Gangsta Grillz tape.
DJ Drama himself announced the imminent arrival of the project by previewing a new music video on Instagram. While the Coke Boyz leader had initially planned to release Coke Boys 6: Money Heist Edition in December, the date came and went without any arrival.
However, Drama confirmed in his aforementioned Instagram post on Monday (January 2) that the mixtape will now arrive on Friday (January 6).
“2023 New Year…Same Hustle Droppin 1/6,” he wrote. “@frenchmontana ‘Coke Boys 6…Money Heist Edition’ Gangsta Grillz…I Gave Yall A Chance To Catch Up…What Happened.”

Coke Boys 6 will serve as French Montana’s first full-length project since last year’s Montega LP with Harry Fraud, which dropped back in June.
Outside of new music, French has been keeping himself busy by working to improve the Ugandan healthcare system. During the annual Pencils of Promise Gala at the Museum of the Moving Image in New York City in October, the Bronx rapper received the 2022 Innovator Award for his humanitarian efforts in the African country.
The Gala honored French Montana for his assistance in raising more than $226 million for healthcare in Uganda, as well as supporting the Budondo Suubi “Hope” Health Center, the region’s primary place of healthcare for new and expectant mothers, as well as their newborns.
As for DJ Drama, he’s been on an unstoppable tear when it comes to Gangsta Grillz mixtapes. He most recently confirmed that he’s got two more in the works with Pusha T andJuelz Santana, which are both set to arrive later this year.
Drama closed out 2022 with Dave East’s Book of David, as well as Jeezy’s Snofall, which marked their first project together in nearly two decades.
The legendary DJ also snagged a Snoop Dogg Gangsta Grillz mixtape called I Still Got It, which arrived on October 20. Drama additionally had a good night at the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards, taking home the award for DJ of the Year, his first award in almost a decade.
