Female Sports Journalist with Vision1 FM collapses and dies

A female sports journalist with Accra-based Vision1 FM, Priscilla Sarpongmaa Damoah has collapsed and died, MyNewsGh.com has confirmed.

According to Head of Sports of Vision1 FM, Ernest Ross who confirmed her passing to MyNewsGh.com says the late sports analyst had not been feeling quite well for some time now and was set to go for medical review on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

No sooner had she stepped out of her house at North Kaneshie when she collapsed and was rushed to the hospital but pronounced dead on arrival.

The body has since been deposited at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital Mortuary pending autopsy.

Ernest Ross reveals that colleagues in the office are distraught over her sudden demise praying for her peaceful repose and expressing their condolences to the bereaved family.

Priscilla formally worked with La-based ZTV Studied Sports Broadcasting and Journalism at Express Media College and undertook some Sports Coaching at University College of Education, Winneba.
