There is definitely no business like show business and that is why people in that world go to extreme lengths to stay relevant.
In today’s technology world, social media has become the place for celebrities to show off what they’ve got.
It has become a thing for our celebs to flaunt their luxurious cars, designer clothes, accessories and exotic destinations.
But not everyone is happy with this trend with celebs like Yvonne Nelson, Martha Ankomah and Captain Planet criticising it and disclosing that a lot of those lifestyles are actually fake.
Well, Kumawood actress, Gladys Norvo, popularly known as Naglad, is in full support of this fake lifestyle saying it is part of show business.
In an interview with Showbiz, Naglad said in show business people are not expected to be real so it is not out of place for celebrities to show off their perceived rich lifestyles to get people talking.

“Being a showbiz person is not like being a pastor or a corporate executive where people expect only good from you. Show business is an open space full of competition where everybody is doing something to get attention and get talked about.
“If people want to flaunt what they don’t have in real life, it is the show part of show business which their followers are obviously interested in and that is allowed in this industry.
“Fake lifestyles rule in show business so there’s nothing wrong feeding your fans with what they want to see or hear,” she stated.
She hasn’t been in the industry long but Naglad says she has seen and experienced enough to conclude that showbiz is not friendly to women.
The old student of Kings College in Kumasi confessed that it hasn’t been easy making her ambitions of being a top actress come true because people judge her wrongly for her posts on social media.
“It is very disheartening that while you are doing everything to please your fans as a celebrity, others see it as an opportunity to call you a prostitute.
“Male celebrities post nude pictures but we don’t criticise them but as soon as a lady reveals even her cleavage hell breaks loose,” Naglad said.
