Effiduase-Asokore MP donates items to constituency
New Patriotic Party [NPP] Member of Parliament [MP] for Effiduase-Asokore constituency, Dr. Nana Ayew Afriyie has given items worth thousands of cedis to some individuals and hospitals in his constituency.
The items include 20 wheelchairs, 1 box of Blind canes, a box of elbow crutches, 20 hair dryers, and 20 sewing machines among other things.
Donating the items to the various recipients, he noted that the gesture is to assist the less privileged, disabled and health institutions in his constituency.
“I come here [my constituency] monthly to do what I called MP surgeries and these people approached me that they need assistance. I thought it was a good thing to assist them with my MP’s common fund,” he said in an interview with Peacefmonline.com.
