Ghanaian top flight side Dreams FC have announced the transfer of duo Samuel Alabi and Montari Kamaheni to Israeli side Ashdod FC.
The pair have been transferred on a season-long loan deal and Ashdod will have the option to exercise the right to purchase the players permanently at the end of their spells.
A Dreams FC statement confirms the transfer: “Dreams FC duo Montari Kamaheni and Samuel Alabi have joined Israeli side FC Ashdod on a season long loan move with an option to sign a permanent deal.”
The pair were promoted to the Dreams first team from their feeder club – Still Believe FC and have made impact playing in the NC Special Competition.
Alabi flourished against giants Hearts of Oak during the matchday 14 clash which the Believers won 1-0.
Montari, on the other side, was a regular for the Ghana U20 side during the 2019 U20 AFCON in Niger.
Ashdod is not new to Ghanaian players as former Black Stars number one Sammy Adjei has had a successful spell at the club in the past.
