Drake Calls Taylor Swift the ‘Biggest Gangster in Music’ in New Kendrick Lamar Diss Track with AI Tupac
Drake unleashed his “Taylor Made Freestyle” on Instagram on Friday, April 19
Drake is back for more, and he’s name-dropping Taylor Swift again.
As the 37-year-old musician waits for Kendrick Lamar to respond to his “Push Ups” diss track from April 13, he decided to release another song of his own aimed at the “It’s on Again” rapper.
“Taylor Made Freestyle,” a second diss track directed at the 36-year-old Pulitzer Prize winner, also controversially features AI verses from Snoop Dogg and the late Tupac Shakur. In the song — released Friday, April 19 on Instagram and seemingly named after Swift, 34 — Drake throws more jabs at Lamar, while alluding to what he says is the reason Lamar hasn’t responded yet: Swift.
“But now we gotta wait a f—— week ’cause Taylor Swift is your new Top/And if you ’bout to drop, she gotta approve/This girl really ’bout to make you act like you not in a feud,” Drake raps, alluding to how long he’s waited for a response from Lamar. “She tailor-made your schedule with Ant, you out of the loop/Hate all you corporate industry puppets, I’m not in the mood.”
Swift released her album, The Tortured Poets Department, on Friday, April 19.

Later in the song, Drake then appeared to compliment Swift. “Yeah, shout out to Taylor Swift, biggest gangster in the music game right now,” he says in an outro.
“You know, I moved my album when she dropped, I said that already. You know, she ’bout to milli’ run through a Milly Rock on your head top. She got the whole pgLang [Lamar’s company] on mute like that Beyoncé challenge, y’all boys quiet for the weekend.”
As previously reported, Drake seemed to mock Lamar for his affiliation with Swift on his last diss “Push Ups,” where he rapped: “Maroon 5 need a verse you better make it witty/You only need a verse for the Swifties”).
Lamar collaborated with Swift on the pair’s “Bad Blood” remix in 2015.
Drake’s latest diss track comes weeks after the Compton rapper teamed up with Future and Metro Boomin on their No. 1 single “Like That,” in which Lamar denounced the notion of himself and Drake being on the same level.
Elsewhere in Drake’s new response track, he used AI-generated Shakur and Snoop Dogg vocals.
“Call him a bitch for me / Talk about him liking young girls as a gift for me,” an AI version of Shakur raps, giving Lamar advice for his response to Drake. The artificial Snoop later raps in another verse, “It’s looking like you writin’ out the game plan on how to lose.”
“Taylor Made Freestyle” also includes a third verse — this time from just Drake (no AI) — in which he claims he’ll “bring out the coward” in Lamar.
“I guess you need another week to figure out how to improve/What the f— is taking so long? We waitin’ on you/ The rest of y’all are definitely involved, y’all gettin’ it too/Soon as you get the courage to drop, I’m out on the loose, on the loose.”
While Swift hasn’t spoken out about her mention in the song, Snoop Dogg shared a clip to Instagram after Drake’s latest release, in which he apparently laughs about his fake voice being used.
“They did what? When? How? Are you sure,” Snoop asks his fans in a Blues Clues style video. “Huh. Y’all have a good night… Why everybody calling my phone, blowing me up? What the f—? What happened? What’s going on? I’m going back to bed. Good night.”
